Friday's Lecture - Rob Chiu

We were lucky enough to get Rob Chiu the director / motion designer in on Friday for an informal lecture. He talked us through some of his latest work for Cartier as well as a few older pieces which kick started his move from animation into directorial work.

His latest project is a short film for the ICareRevolution, an unorthodox charity for young people 'motivated by injustice'. Rob was given several subjects to cover within the film, which he has tackled by creating a narrative of 3 lives which intercept in some way. The entire film is about 10 minutes long but here's a trailer to take a peek at:
