Here's a quick round-up of some of the inspiration I showed at this weeks meeting to get those 2012 creative juices flowing!!!

A short stop-motion piece which was really nice thought out and executed...

A beautiful end credit animation created for the film 'Mentiras Piadosas' by director Diego Sabanes.

'A film based on Julio Cortázar’s “black comedy about white lies” short story “La Salud De Los Enfermos,” draws inspiration from shadow sculpture where the shadow, rather than the form, represents the object.'

PlayStation Animation

A great little animation in homage to the heritage of the PlayStation brand and the iconic button symbols associated with it. I really think the audio adds something to this piece and emphasise the simple animation. Very striking!

Walking Dead Title Sequence

A great title sequence which fully reflects its comic book origins. Lovely visual styling. Channel 5 are re-running the series starting tonight also. Check it out there!

A really nice and cleverly concepted piece. Great way to demonstrate how to keep things simple!

This is an animated short from students at the Gobelins film school in France. Really nicely paced and scripted animation with a lovely visual styling.
