Again in Guernsey, I came across some paintings by Craig Davison. If I had a few spare hundred quid I would've purchased one. Alas.
The children are painted literally playing with sticks, but their shadows show what the kids are imagining, from Star Wars and Batman to Western cowboys and Roman warriors.
Such a simple idea but beautifully executed and you can't help but feel a bit nostalgic when looking at them :)
